Surely everyone has been using a homegrown version of this since they started with css? We use a build script to generate our css files with things such as:
.header { background: @BACKGROUND }
.maintable { margin-left: 5+@DEFAULT_MARGIN }
I mean, without it you are left writing it all manually!
Good to see something open source though, and I love the hierarchy.
