Urban planning is an issue, but not the size of the country.
- walshemj 13y agoDensity of population is the major factor Holland is a small densely populated flat country which helps with cycling.
- PeterisP 13y agoCommutes are intra-city not inter-city; and the density of large cities in USA is comparable to the density of large cities everywhere.
- walshemj 13y agoOr you cycle to station (using a folding bike) and then to the office in the city - most of us in the Uk cant afford to live in central London.
