I ran my 2008 Acer Aspire One ZG5 netbook until I got my current "Ultrabook" a couple of months ago. The netbook handled just about everything I threw at it, and with FreeBSD and dwm it ran faster than it did when I first bought it. Unfortunately I'm not too pleased with the HP Envy 15. The AMD A6 Vision graphics aren't so bad, but support for the Broadcom 4313 wifi card is sparse in the nix world... Soon I'll be tearing it apart to swap out the bcm 4313 for something supported by FreeBSD, but for now, I'll not be purchasing a new PC any time soon.
