Does an app having a lot of 5 star reviews help the application raise it's status in the store over the long run? Also in the Play Store, does Google cycle reviews on updates like Apple does?
- potatolicious 13y agoEven on Apple's App Store historical 5 star reviews help a lot, since they are still added to our cumulative average (albeit at a lower weighting). Reviews for older versions aren't visible individually on the store, but most people only look at the average star rating, not individual reviews.
