You are mistaken. No one gives a sh to US spying on Indians, Brazilians or Iranians. Most of the outrage you see on internet, on HN and everywhere else is only because US is spying on American citizens. (Control is not same as spying but I would assume spying to be a subset of it) That is why as a non-american I don't sign any of those petitions condemning NSA for spying on Americans.
