I'm an admin. My RfA went swimmingly (97 supports, 1 oppose, 3 neutrals). But even though it went well, it was still nerve-wracking. Much more nerve-wracking than any job interview I've ever had. A week-long process where everyone is looking for examples of when you've fucked up and asking questions to try and trip you up. I can understand why people are reluctant to run for adminship.
