The website apparently has over 500 million lines of Java code though. Nobody can cover all of that by themselves in 2 days. Undoing bad design decisions at this scale takes a LOT of work, a lot more than you are estimating. Even if there were 100 others like you, I doubt you guys could even put a dent in the problem.
