I use GoSublime, it comes with GoCode so you get to know the method signature when the autocompletion pops-up. Also in the settings of GoSublime, you can set it to run `go lint`, `go vet`, `errcheck` and `go build` at every save, and capture the output to put it in the guther. This way, you catch pretty much everything.
