I thoroughly enjoy the absolute ripping the author gets in the comment section. Ignoring Microsoft's other philathropic efforts, $1 million is still more good than he will ever bring about in his entire life.

You think it's fair to compare the philanthropic efforts of a $200,000,000,000 company to an individual? $1 million is nothing to Microsoft, 0.0005% of their market capital, but more than most people's net worth. I don't disagree that this was a poor article and headline, but that was an unfair criticism.
