I don't think that this is the best policy for creating useful and clear titles on the Hacker News site. But I REALLY appreciate your making this post to explain the policy and the reasons behind it. I can go along with this even if I don't think it's the best policy, and now I can understand the reasoning behind it. The openness of explaining the policy and the reasons for it are a big improvement. Thank you.
