One of the most helpful title additions is the (YEAR), for older articles. This gives nice context for the reader, before clicking the article.
- 001sky 13y agoYes, an obvious cue for something that is not news, but may be interesting seems wholly appreciate. I think HN is pretty good about this in general for articles not in the current calendar year. Such a modification is not editorializing or biasing the content in anyway, too. So this keeps a consistency in place on that front.
