Surely if we are changing the law to require districts be chosen by shortest line method we would change the law so that it was legal to do so.

Surely if we are changing the law to require districts be chosen by shortest line method we would change the law so that it was legal to do so.
- humanrebar 13y agoAny passed law would be appealed to the Supreme Court. If the courts strike the law down, there would have to be a Constitutional amendment. The U.S. has not seen that substantial of an amendment since alcohol was legalized.
