- krapp 13y ago>he is not corruptable He's a human being, not a paragon of virtue. He has his price just like anyone else. Cult of personality can be a dangerous thing when electing a leader.
- rayiner 13y agoWhat a testimonial to how out of touch people on HN are. "The people love him." Really? Depending on what poll you look at, some large percentage of the public (30-40%) considers him a traitor. Even the people who agree with what he did wouldn't ever vote for him (they care more about issues like abortion, social security, etc).
