- probably_wrong 13y agoIt has, a long time ago. Do you remember when we thought that Twitter was a stupid idea? When "I'll publish pictures of my food" was not worth a billion dollars? The idea of drawing something with someone else alone was valued at 180 million. Think about it.
- Jgrubb 13y agoI actually never thought Twitter was a stupid idea, but point taken. I shall quit my job and get my shit together posthaste.
- InclinedPlane 13y agoA friend and I came up with a rule of thumb. If there's an internet company and at least 1 in 20 of your friend group is familiar with it then it's probably worth a billion dollars on paper. Obviously that doesn't make sense, but neither does any valuation in tech right now.
