Having gone to business school, and having worked for well-known tech companies, I can assure you that there is approximately zero overlap between what you learn in Organizational Behavior class and what is practiced in real companies by imperfectly human managers. It's not really productive to say "everyone is incompetent." It's more productive to figure out how to manage your own career in an imperfect world.
