- LekkoscPiwa 13y agoIn New Jersey it is illegal for you to fill up the gas on your own. It has to be done by the pump attendant. That's the law. Not sure about Boston ;-) It might be that it makes business sense for the owner to have pump attendant at the rate or above of the minimal wage. Which is nice.
