I used OS X exclusively for many years from 2003 to 2009. I always thought that I'm the most productive with macs, until I first started to learn vim and then had a employer who forced either a Windows or Ubuntu laptop for me. When I installed Ubuntu to my work laptop I tried this tiling window manager my friend recomended called Xmonad. It was hard. Nowadays I'm a happy Gentoo user and when our television computer, which is an iMac, breaks, it's going to be my last Mac.
