  Science doesn't care about 'why' questions. It is also misleading, because it assumes that something has a purpose, which is not necessarily the case.

  Just remember science is about what and how, when you get to stuff like why, it's philosophy. 90% of all of the ridiculous arguments that seem to happen around this subject appear due to the inability to keep these separate.

  Maybe there is no "why". The world is, no reason, at least nothing we could ever understand.
