It always makes me sad when I see people rummage through the dumpsters in front of my house. Here in Germany most I see doing this are older people. Some of them could be my grand parents. I know nothing about them but old people should not have to rummage through my litter to make a living. It is simply embarrassing. Germany is one of the richest countries in the world still I have the impression that there are more and more people rummaging through litter. We can shoot people on the moon, have a space station orbiting our planet, and we can heal once fatal diseases. Is poverty really such a tricky problem to solve?
