Will people who are woken by an alarm learn to wave their arms in the air until it stops, then go back to sleep?
- atonse 13y agoNo, because the situations where you do want to shut the alarm up (usually when you've burned something in the kitchen), you are basically saying "yes yes, I know, leave me alone" But if you were asleep and were woken up by an alarm, you obviously don't know what it is. Plus, the added benefit of the smoke alarm saying "Smoke in <some room>" is much more useful.
