- imdsm 13y ago> centuries' worth of hacker legends about the lost treasure of the Dread Pirate Roberts It is amazing to think that in a few hundreds years, quite possibly, bitcoin/a bitcoin derivative could be the "global" currency, and this wallet could actually be a lost treasure among people. Sometimes it's easy to think we're just in the here and now, but we are making history, we're in the future's past.
- cookiecaper 13y agoIt's also reasonable to believe that the cryptographic technologies upon which bitcoin depends will not withstand a few hundred years of technological advancement.
- deegles 13y agoBy then we'll have a new generation of cryptocurrency. I hope it will be called Qubitcoin. :)
