The problem is skeuomorphism was and is a lazy way to provide contextual cues. It is merely one tool amongst a set of tools for providing non-explicit information to the user.
- wvenable 13y agoLazy is good for users. But all lot of the skeuomorphism that is rallied against is the kind that is merely decoration. There's a lot of babies being thrown out with bathwater lately.
