I play bassoon in orchestra and piano on my own (though I'm very rusty at the latter). My main musical outlet these days is traditional dance music, primarily from Ireland (with a strong focus on South Sligo) and Newfoundland. I play whistle reasonably well and I'm working on learning wooden flute and one-row button accordion. I write tunes in this style as well.
