The fact it's not true doesn't really matter.
If a man had done the exact same project, no one would care. So, well done her for being a woman.

- thenomad 13y agoNot true. The most obvious example of a man embarking on a similar project - which people did care about - was Jonathan Coulton, who rose to fame at least partially thanks to his "thing a week" project and the output from that. Jayenkai's "Game A Week" project (male dev) has also attracted quite a bit of press.
