I think the original idea and several of the additions made in this thread are excellent. I've been wanting something along those lines just to have an avenue to present ideas to people whom I actually care about hearing from (will make intelligent criticisms). Ask HN is amazing because of the community, but I've always wanted a little more. I would be up for doing this as a side-project as well if you would like some company.
