Is the government open?
- dak1 13y agoWhile using an animated GIF is a cute idea, a simple "Yes" or "No" would suffice and be quicker to process/interpret.

- lowmagnet 13y agoOh do shut up, you're a big part of what's wrong with hn. https://medium.com/i-m-h-o/66e8721ff869 https://medium.com/i-m-h-o/66e8721ff869
- dak1 13y agoI read your link, but I'm having difficulty seeing the connection in my comment. I didn't make an ad hominem attack, and tried to offer a constructive criticism (that an animated image takes more time to process for information). There's plenty of ways to keep the image and make it quicker to process though, like putting the answer in the title, or adding text over the image. I do however think your response to my comment is in fact more in line with what the post you linked to is complaining about. IE, you replied with an insult and didn't offer anything constructive.
- devgutt 13y agoI first thought It was some kind of map of open governments around the world...nope, just a meme. Isn't The Facebook the place for this type of material? (maybe the code was written using Butterflies, so that would be interesting).
