Early on I find it especially ironic when he verbally attacked Carter's X-Files for meaningless mysteries and a lack of satisfying conclusions, when now that pretty much defines JJ Abrams works. Abrams TV shows are vapid mysteries that have no overriding theme and his movies are are plotless roller coaster rides.
