Fuck you Coding Horror flags it. I thought Hacker News was going to ban all Coding Horror articles..
(Sorry, I know this isn't a constructive comment but nothing ruins my day more than seeing a Coding Horror link :/)
- michael_dorfman 17y agoI'm not against seeing the occasional Coding Horror article here, if it is relevant-- but this one doesn't seem to say much, and to be honest, I can't remember the last Coding Horror blog post that didn't get linked here...
- sports_guy 17y agoDid this post really just get deleted? Hating on TC and CH articles is now the in thing? This is disappointing.
- ErrantX 17y agoI dont like Arrington and Attwood at all - but I agree they often have important stuff to say. uor right, knee jerk dimissal and "hate" is a bad thing. And to comment on the other reply here: I think this is almost the #1 crucial issue in the Linux community right now. He just presented it poorly.
- JeremyChase 17y agoI was glad to see this link go [dead] as it doesn't add anything to the mentioned '40 years of Unix' thread. I like some of the CH posts, but many are just trolling for eyeballs. This is one of them. I wish I could block everything that comes from TC though.
- oscardelben 17y agoMaybe is just for remembering people to not post everything that comes from coding horror. I imagine in my head 20 or 30 guys refreshing coding horror and techcrunch just to leave the first comment or to post the link here :D
