Would you pay a monthly fee to all the websites that provide you content in exchange for an ad free experience?
- manish_gill 13y agoAll the websites? Nope. A selected few who I think provide me a great value as a customer? Why not.
- Gormo 13y agoI don't know about manish_gill, but I certainly wouldn't. I guess the people running those websites will have to choose between continuing to publish content on the open web, knowing that some users won't look at the ads, or putting everything behind a paywall, knowing that some users won't subscribe.
- bcoates 13y agoNo, but since it's not difficult to detect that I'm running an adblocker they can feel free to paywall me or just tell me to go away and I will.
- clebio 13y agoI paid for Pandora specifically so I didn't have to listen to their ads.
