I am taking the computer security classes from coursera, which are pretty interesting and well taught. Strikingly however, almost all of the people visible in the videos have a really high BMI and seem more stressed than I would expect. I wonder if computer security is one of those fields with extremely high stress levels...

- bayesianhorse 13y agoYes, but he's not going to break into your office and knock you out... I guess the social interactions and the emotions about being attacked contribute to a higher than average stress level. The emotions will be heightened by stakeholders in your organization who look and behave a lot more likely to knock you out or do some other harm to you.
