- te_platt 17y agoThe point of the article isn't that IQ differences don't exist. Only that on average how hard you work is much more important than how smart you are in achieving success. At least in the measures used in the article - graduate degrees and income. From the article: "In any case, he says, the evidence is overwhelming that what is distinctive about these three groups is not innate advantage but rather a tendency to get the most out of the firepower they have."
