When I await my order being prepared I look outside window and observe people, cars, interactions and sometimes it takes for staff to call me several times for me to come back to realization where I am. Other times I just go into sort of dreamworld of mine, I start to think about anything and block external signals, this shields me more from outside world than looking outside window. Of course I need to be pulled out from this state. I do not have smartphone, tablet and I do not read leaflets, papers while waiting.
