- maaku 13y ago? Not sure the relevance. That post-dates the China/ISS issue by years, and anyway is about NASA doing it's own diplomacy, which it shouldn't have been. That's State Department's business - just like it was when Space Station Freedom turned into ISS and the Russians got on board. The Chinese could have worked with the State Department, Russia, Europeans, Japanese and Canadians to join the ISS program and it would have been legal. They deliberately chose not to.
