Isn't there something approaching the Acid2/3 test for graphics drivers? It seems like the popularity of the Acid tests was beneficial for the browser ecosystem...it was an easy and standard thing to point to.
- slacka 13y agoThe Khronos group has OpenGL and OpenGL ES conformance tests. Unfortunately, they are not public and you have to be a member to access them.[1] The only public OpenGl test that I know of is the piglit suite.[2] [1] http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/showthread.php/163549-Conformance-Test http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/showthread.php/16354... - ah- 13y agoI think there's a OpenGL test suite from Khronos, but it's not free and otherwise there's the piglit tests from Mesa.
- zokier 13y agog-truc.net tests desktop opengl status regularly. This is the report from last spring: http://www.g-truc.net/doc/OpenGL%20status%202013-04.pdf http://www.g-truc.net/doc/OpenGL%20status%202013-04.pdf I suppose same methodology could be applied to mobile drivers too.
