Title is a bit misleading, Braintree is not acquired by Paypal.
1. The transaction is planned between eBay and Braintree.
2. At this point eBay has plans to acquire Braintree (agreed to acquire).
- jfoster 13y agoYeah, but Braintree's CEO is reporting into David Marcus, and all of the quotes from the eBay side are talking about PayPal. For all intents and purposes, Braintree has been acquired by PayPal.
