  The exclusion of third party servers is meaningless. Any communication over the internet will pass through at least several third party routers, which are by all intents and purposes servers. What you shouldn't do is transmitting sensitive information without controlling the end-to-end encryption chain. If you do that, you can involve as many third party servers as is convenient.
