Exactly my first thought. Most people are buying helmets as helmets first and foremost. This is like a GPS system that weakens your seatbelt as a side-effect of installation. Also, the website doesn't instill confidence. I'd drop $2k on one from Icon or AGV or Shoei, but not a technology startup.
