I run 100 droplets on DO and fetch 7MM feeds a day and have never had an issue with DO, either limiting me or turning off my machines. In fact, I've had the opposite experience: fast support, fast spin-up times, and an overall great service. I realize you sound angry because you were asked to verify your account, but this reads vindictive and makes me think that the same behavior that caused their abuse department to flag your account is what's responsible for this attack blog post.
