One of the ways I deal with being severely dyslexic is by highlighting each line of words as I read.
For this reason alone, I can't stand contextual menus appearing when I draw a selection.
On a completely separate note, people tweeting should be very comfortable with command-c command-v, and everyone else should be too.
- socialpopup 13y agoNailed it! This is exactly what I'm talking about. I doubt even those who tweet use this widget. As useless as {'Share','Follow','Like','Digg'} As the title says, this must go away.
- MildlySerious 13y agoI'm not dyslexic and I still do this from time to time, mostly with long lines or small text. For editors this menu filled with text formatting tools might be a nice feature, but for users, especially with second class functionality, I'd consider it an anti-pattern.
