Developers to follow on Twitter
I actually found this to be a useful resource. I've added several from this list, and it has a nice variety of specialites.
- chrisduesing 17y agoThis is great but it is pretty heavily RoR/CSS/JS slanted. Perhaps the HN community can recommend some of their Twitter follows here? I don't have too many super tech people I follow yet, mostly friends and entrepreneur types (but in the spirit of getting the ball rolling) Jeff Barr talks about AWS a lot (and answers questions). http://twitter.com/jeffbarr http://twitter.com/jeffbarr Kevin Smith for Erlang http://twitter.com/kevsmith http://twitter.com/kevsmith
- sant0sk1 17y agoRuby devs I follow and recommend: igrigorik, _why, techpickles, greggpollack, topfunky
- jfornear 17y ago2nd igrigorik http://www.igvita.com/ http://www.igvita.com/
- defunkt 17y agoIsn't DHH the only RoR developer on this list?
- chrisduesing 17y agoand thomasfuchs. I may have also been mentally throwing jason fried in to that bucket wrongly. The comments also had several more. I guess I could have been more general and said what, web? I wasn't trying to be negative, I was just hoping to see if anyone followed people for languages that weren't mentioned.
- krakensden 17y agomigueldeicaza and abock are good if you're interested in Mono. They aren't particularly focused on the web though.
- defunkt 17y agoSorry, I didn't mean to call you out for being anti-anything. Was just curious why you said RoR-heavy when I only saw one developer :)
- ericlavigne 17y agoavibryant #followfriday
- goodkarma 17y agoUmmm, I'm pretty sure Jason Fried is a designer (and not a developer).
- rbanffy 17y agogvanrossum, webmink, merlyn, limi are the ones I see the most
- wallflower 17y agoSearching for 'SDK' brings up some interesting people to follow now and again. http://search.twitter.com/search?q=SDK http://search.twitter.com/search?q=SDK
