I'd say the 5th point is true in general, is just that money insulates you from the worst effects of many bad decisions and severe poverty can amplify them.

I'd say the 5th point is true in general, is just that money insulates you from the worst effects of many bad decisions and severe poverty can amplify them.
- rmc 13y agoHaving money gives you free mistakes. If you have very little money, then little mistakes can mean you have no money for food or accomodation. Then you start on the downward spiral. Having extra cash allows you to make the mistake without it ending your career.
