I tend to group posts like this in with the recent attention on sexism in tech, and it makes me ask ... Why do people feel the need to be such assholes to other human beings? Why should it ever matter what someone else does with their lives as long as it doesn't interfere with your inalienable rights? Why should it ever matter to anyone what color your skin is or what genitals you have if you get the job done? I just don't get hate in general.
