For several years, I've been listening to music at a higher than recommended volume, to drown out the ambience and try to work. My hearing has noticeably dropped - a test a few years back showed I have a hearing similar to a person in his 50s, and I'm 32. The company I work for built a new building, and we're moving there next month. Development's quarters? A 500 square foot room, for 18 developers :( .
