Most of my happiest moments as a child were while playing organized sports. I'm not sure where you're getting your idea that dis-organized sports are "actually fun" with the implication that playing on a team isn't, but you might want to reconsider.
- parasitius 13y agoI'll never forget organized sports in my childhood.... ever. And the year I quit for good. Things got worse and worse each year, until finally there was the year where the coach's son repeatedly made graphic death threats against me (explaining exactly where his dad's gun was hidden in the house and how he'd carry it out) as punishment for his perception of 'fuck ups' I made. And -- I didn't even have involvement with any of the sports where the parents start fighting on the field and all get arrested for assault etc.
