Isn't this the purpose of positive psychology? I have a rather high quality tome, http://www.amazon.com/Character-Strengths-Virtues-Handbook-Classification/dp/0195167015/ http://www.amazon.com/Character-Strengths-Virtues-Handbook-C... that does its best to discuss the positive aspects of a person, trying to be a kind of mirrored version of the DSM.
