I always thought bump would be a compelling technology if it was baked into an OS liked Android. The main issue was getting past the hurdle of convincing others to download it - no one wanted to download an app just to exchange contact info in a moment of need. If was already on your phone I could see users adopting it for things like contacts & photo exchange.
