For big commodities like corn, that might not be a solution, but I'd like to build a startup that covers some huge market inneficiencies - for example, peppers grown 500 km from the city I live in are sold at U$ 1, while they cost U$ 4 at the supermarket.
- fleitz 13y agoDo you mean as in 500km from your city you can buy peppers for $1 and they cost $4 in the city? Or did you mean that there is a $3 price discrepancy for peppers between the supermarket and the fruit stand?
- GFischer 13y agoI meant that in 500 km from my city you can buy peppers for $1 and they cost $4 in the city. they're about $3 in the fruit stand and $4 in the supermarket.
