For example, I'd bet that a far greater percentage of people of either sex enjoy giving oral 10 years after they started having sex than the first year they had sex. (That is, unless they got married. Ba-dum-pssshh. :) ) So women observe some of this porn, they get it into their heads that it "looks hot", and that makes it hot. Theoretically.
