What is undeniable is that is an an issue that gets eyeballs, and an issue that people are vocal about. I think you are still mixing your "understand" and "agree" signals. I am talking about a sort of realpoltik attitude towards journalism. The merits of the US/Israel relationship do not matter here, what matters is how using this example drives the story.
