I was at first skeptic about DigitalOcean, and thought they wouldn't survive, but here they are and constantly upgrading.
I remember days when Linode lovers where bashing on IRC..oh they were so wrong

But don't confuse being able to "survive" for 2 years approx (founded 6/2011) as a result of raising over 3 million dollars (ref: crunchbase) with long term survival.
